SimplyEduTech is a South African company based in Durban, Kwazulu Natal, specializing in Educational Technology products, solutions and services. Since 2017 we have developed a myriad of solutions to service the needs of educators and learners on the African continent, given our deep knowledge of the challenges faced on the continent, such as infrastructural difficulties, lack of quality internet connectivity, affordability, and scarcity of qualified personnel, among others.
SimplyEduTech has worked towards the "democratisation" of education for our youth by designing and developing solutions to overcome these challenges, while offering quality tools and solutions that would fit into this challenging African environment, whilst maintaining world class standards
EDUCATIONAL CONTENT DELIVERY ECOSYSTEM
The SimplyEduTech system comprises both online and offline solutions for eLearning. The Education Suite is a single sign-on system that enables learners and teachers alike to access our comprehensive eLearning content library, our LMS, as well as links to virtual teaching tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, all on one platform.
Our offline, on school premises system, comprises a Linux based server hosted in a secure location within the school and connected to the school LAN network or alternatively to independent network wireless access points (WAP) for content distribution around the school. This content is shared via WiFi to mobile phones, tablets, laptops or personal computers for consumption by the learners, at no data cost to these learners. The system has the capability to provide analytics on system usage, and is able to send this usage data via any available internet return path at the site to a back-end server for usage data analysis.
Eduvod SA also provides world class advanced reporting and data analytics tools to enable administrators and teachers to track user behaviour, and derive reports that will assist them in managing their learners.
